Taskaree trailer launch: Amruta Khanvilkar calls working with Neeraj Pandey “phenomenal”; says her character is “total badass”

Amruta Khanvilkar is starting the year on a strong note with the trailer launch of her upcoming Netflix web series Taskaree, marking her first-ever foray into the action genre on the digital platform. The action thriller, which also stars Emraan Hashmi, is directed by Neeraj Pandey and is set to stream on Netflix from January 14.

Sharing how the project came her way, Amruta revealed that Taskaree began on a memorable note for her Taskaree trailer launch:.. “2025 started with a bang for me because I began shooting for Taskaree in January last year, and it turned out to be such an incredible experience,” she said Taskaree trailer launch:.. Thanks to casting director Vicky Sadanah, I met Neeraj sir and performed a single scene—he loved it, and that was it. ”
Calling Taskaree an important milestone in her career, the actor highlighted that it is her first action web series. “It’s my first-ever action web series. I’ve performed a lot of action sequences in the show,” she shared. Speaking about her character, Amruta added, “My character, Mitali, is a total badass and one of the core members of the customs team. I truly enjoyed stepping into her shoes and exploring this side of myself. ”
The scale of the series also stood out for Amruta, particularly the locations used during filming. She mentioned that the team shot at several places that are usually inaccessible to the public, adding to the authenticity and intensity of the narrative Taskaree trailer launch:..
Working with Neeraj Pandey proved to be a learning experience for the actor. “The way Neeraj sir envisions and executes a scene is phenomenal Taskaree trailer launch:..
