On December 12, Mumbai’s AQI reportedly crossed 150, primarily due to dust and smog, pushing air quality into the unhealthy category.

Deeply worried about the situation, Armaan took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared a series of posts highlighting the growing health crisis. He pointed out that people across age groups are falling sick and stressed that the issue goes beyond seasonal changes. In his first post, the singer wrote, “Mumbai’s air feels heavier every day. I’ve seen more people fall sick this month than ever before, and it’s not the weather… it’s the air. The smog Armaan Malik urges.. The dust. The reality we’re breathing. Expressing his deep emotional connection with the city, Armaan further added, “I love my city and my country deeply, and I want to continue living, working, and growing here because this place is home. All I’m hoping for is that the authorities can take necessary steps to help make our living conditions healthier and more sustainable for everyone Armaan Malik urges.. ”
