Gautami Kapoor talks about the half-sibling twist, iconic final scene, and future of The Ba***ds Of Bollywood: “It was one crazy ride”

Gautami Kapoor has had an eventful year with three releases – Special Ops 2, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, and De De Pyaar De 2 Gautami Kapoor talks.. However, it was Aryan Khan’s debut directorial, The Ba***ds Of Bollywood, that proved to be a game-changer for her. Not many know that Gautami was initially considered for another role in the series. It was later that Aryan suggested she play superstar Ajay Talwar’s wife. It was one of the rare occasions she appeared in a glamorous role, and for Gautami, the series has become a “career milestone. ”

Speaking exclusively to News18 Showsha, Gautami revealed that she was initially apprehensive about how the series would be received. “It has broken all records. But when we were shooting for it, I was a little worried, scared and apprehensive because the content was so explicit and out there. I didn’t know how it’s going to translate once it’s edited and put together. When I was filming the scenes, I was like, ‘What the hell is this. ’ It was one crazy ride,” she exclaimed. “But Aryan being Aryan was convinced that this is the way it should be done Gautami Kapoor talks.. I was worried as to how everyone around me is going to react to the series. But it has been received fantastically well Gautami Kapoor talks.. Both Aryan and the script were just phenomenal. ”
The half-sibling twist and the cliffhanger, where Gautami and Bobby Deol’s onscreen son reveals he’s in love with the house help, came as a surprise to the audience and had Gautami feeling nervous. “Everywhere I go now, people keep talking about the show and the last scene and how they loved my scream. It has become an iconic scream. But it was one scene I was the most worried about Gautami Kapoor talks.. I kept thinking what my teenage kids and my parents were going to say. But everyone enjoyed it thoroughly and laughed over it, which is amazing Gautami Kapoor talks.. People are now associating me with the show because of the scream. I really hope that it translates into some spectacular work offers,” she said.
Making The Ba***ds Of Bollywood was no easy task, but Aryan was ready to face criticism. “Aryan was well-prepared for the flak he could’ve received for the show. But being the person that he is, he didn’t really bother. He doesn’t bother about comments and negativity. He’s so young but he’s far above all that Gautami Kapoor talks.. I salute him for that because it’s not easy being Aryan Khan,” she shared. Praising his sense of humour, Gautami added, “It’s an amazing and beautiful quality to have. If you can take a joke on yourself, you’re pretty much home and dry. ”
When asked about a possible second season, Gautami said, “There has to be a second season, else all the actors in The Ba***ds Of Bollywood will protest (laughs) Gautami Kapoor talks.. We’ll go outside the Red Chillies office, do a dharna and say that we need a season two. We’ll fast until death Gautami Kapoor talks.. The first season has done spectacularly well and there’s a story beyond this, which they’ll, of course, explore. There should be a season two and I’m hoping for the same,” she remarked Gautami Kapoor talks..
