Dhurandhar star Akshaye Khanna in a throwback interview, “I see no point in talking about myself unnecessarily. I’m not a high-profile person”

I see no point in talking about myself unnecessarily. I’m not a high-profile person. I like being as low-profile as humanly possible. In the long run, it’s the film that matters Dhurandhar star Akshaye.. Talking about yourself is of no consequence. It doesn’t come naturally to me. ”
In another throwback interview with this writer, Akshaye had admitted that he would like to do more work Dhurandhar star Akshaye.. “It’s not conscious. If I had my way, I’d work 365 days a year. As for being picky, who isn’t. Aren’t Abhishek (Bachchan), John (Abraham) and Hrithik (Roshan) picky Dhurandhar star Akshaye.. Even today, I’m hugely lacking in self-confidence. There’s a huge level of satisfaction and turmoil. I guess that’s a part of every actor’s personality. I started acting when I was only 19. My only goal in life was to be an actor. That I am. I want to keep getting good work. ”

As for working with his late charismatic dad Vinod Khanna, that was also a no-no. “I worked with my dad in my first film Himalay Putra. It was a terrifying experience. There are certain people whom you shouldn’t work with Dhurandhar star Akshaye.. My dad is one of them. Mr. (Amitabh) Bachchan is another. To stand in the same frame as them confidently is impossible. They’ve such an overpowering screen presence. Even today I’d think ten times before facing the camera with my dad. In terms of physicality alone he was so powerful. As a star- son it’s a constant struggle to move away from being known as Vinod Khanna’s son and create my own space. ”
